Humanoid Android Created by the Japanese

That looks so real... I wouldn't know it was an android unless someone told me... In fact, I still find it hard to believe. I think I'll need to see video of her components in action, or I may never believe this... But if it's true, Coooooooooool. Own your very own Chobits! It certainly would make life more interesting. *Click Here*
Once again in other news. The diet goes on, I've lost 7.5lbs now. So I'm happy. I guess that ear staple thingy works... Not that it was completely responsible. I've had to slap my own hand a few times... Stupid brain is so persistant.. Some weirder effects have occured now too. I feel lighter, more focused and time moves slower now. Which of course makes me very bored.  Posted by Picasa

The Straight Dope

Have you ever thought of a silly question that needed a real answer. Well, these guys are professionals. The people at the Straight Dope go digging for information so you don't have to. Yall should check out the archive, it has an incredible amount of cool information. Plus, it updates almost every day. I know it's not very flashy, but it is worth a read.*Click Here*
In other news, after a seemingly short trip to Oklahoma City I feel somewhat refreshed. I lost two pounds while I was away, which isn't bad. The ear staple thingy really does suppress my apetite. The only problem is convincing my head that indeed I am not hungry and don't need to eat anything. Well, anyway, I'll keep yall informed.  Posted by Picasa

Sorry Cow

This is an interesting site. For all of yall like me who think, Mmm, veal, then realize how horrible it is to eat baby cows stunted from birth and chained to the ground so they're legs never develop, well, this sites for you. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a vegetarian(although I don't eat veal...much), but it's interesting anyway. I'm sorry cow! Just to feel a little less guilty :-) *Click Here*
In other news, I had this accupunction ear staple put on. This potentially causes you to lose weight. I'm curious to see if it works. I started at 209lbs yesterday night :( It's 2:00pm now, and I'm 205.5lbs :) I guess its working. But i'll keep yall informed. Weight Loss Staple Posted by Picasa

Digital Paper

What is this your looking at? It's the future! You can download images onto this digital paper. It's flexible and cool. Everything that gets updated will be on these. Think about it, menus, signs or even something as simple as "Hello, my name is Gato" tags. This would be perfect for a real life Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in my opinion. It'd be fun to download card games onto these things and play. This would certainly be a ton of fun. For this type of thing, I figure it'll be cheap in the future. It'll be everywhere. *Click Here*

Two Programs, Two Different Viewers, One TV

Wow, this is awesome. Basically two people can watch two programs by looking at it from different angles. That, is awesome. I always thought picture in picture was annoying for both viewers. Having to ignore one screen. *Click Here*
I don't have the article on hand, but I remember there was this directional sound speaker. Basically it focuses a sound wave in a specific direction only. And people outside the direction of the sound wave, don't hear anything. Amazing really, I wish I had the link. But that would be perfect for this. Two recliners, one tv, watching a different show and both can see and hear clearly.  Posted by Picasa

A Possible Global Warming Solution

This is a one of many possible projects to stop global warming. While I do not subscribe to the idea of global warming, I thought this was kinda neat.
Besides vowing to never capitalize the word france or french again, I've been fairly busy with non interesting work. Well anyway, here's a link. *Click Here* Posted by Picasa

Build Your Own Traveling Wi Fi Backpack

Build your own traveling Wi-Fi wireless hotspot. This is pretty sweet. I've been toying with the web browser on my PSP(using Wipeout Pure). It's pretty cool. I love being able to walk around with it. The problem, of course, is that it only works when I'm in the vacinity of a wireless router. Good thing I bought one I spose. This has been a lot of fun.
I've been playing with this web browser so much that I havn't been at my computer to blog easily. I swear, the PSP is probably the best thing ever. A lot of yall DS fans, have a fun little toy, but the PSP has become indispensable. I have emulators, roms, a web browser, and MP3s on it. I can play television shows(recorded from my TV card on my computer) or movies on my psp or just play a good old fashioned PSP game. It's with me while I drive down the road(MP3s) and I can take it out to the back yard to surf the web.
But heres the real kicker. I put my Tae Bo workout on the PSP, so I can workout where ever I am. I often have this problem of quitting what ever exercise schedule I have whenever I go on vacation.
On top of everything there are new innovations with the homebrew PSP applications coming out every day. Also, I'm finding new things to do with it every day. Just today, I put an episode of Scrapped Princess(anime) on my PSP and watched it while in the tub.

XBox 360 Graphics are Amazing

Wow, Just Wow. This is rendered. And it's not specially rendered, this is just a screen capture from Project Gotham Racing 3 on the XBox 360. Simply unbelievable. Look at that incredibly detail. I know I know.. I thought the same thing. Fake, its just a picture of new york. But Bizarre Creations has proven this is an actual in game screenshot. I'm in awe. I can't wait till the next gen of consoles. *Click Here* Posted by Picasa

Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow

What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Well, here ya go. I know, I know... But it's one of those things you show your physics professor. :-) *Click Here*
I'm annoyed a bit. My parents got back from San Fransisco with my phone. I was psyched. They brought chocolate and t-shirts. However, it turns out the picture server thing is down. I took a few pictures of the setup, but I'm having trouble getting them off. I havn't had trouble like this before, so I wonder whats going on. I've been scouting for fun articles and such, but I hate to say it, but they're all too heavy... How 80's of me to say... Well, who wants to know about the supreme court justice retiring or whatever. It's important, but it just doesn't make for good reading.
Well, I take that back. There was another really cool article I ran across. Leonardo Da Vinci painted in layers. Scientists have discovered a painting beneath a painting. I thought this was pretty neat. *Click Here* Posted by Picasa
